Data Set Notes:
The folder aii97L02_cayman_trough_seismic_data_1978 contains seismic shot data from the Cayman Trough, collected during cruise Atlantis II 97-02.
This data was obtained by migrating 9-track tapes that Elazar Uchupi had given to the Data Library. Uri ten Bring at USGS Woods Hole worked with Tyrell Data Services in Houston, Texas to migrate the tapes during the first half of 2011.
Please note that the data is incomplete. Only some of the data was able to be read due to missing tapes and degradation of the tapes themselves.
